Who is
Paul North?

Paul North is an Australian Polyvagal-informed psychologist, author and presenter with decades of experience in trauma therapy and developmental disabilities. He has supported children and adults in private practice, and served in senior clinical and consulting roles in NSW and the ACT Government.

Specialising in the “science of safety”, he helps individuals and families heal through nervous system regulation. He is the author of two books, a children’s book called “Safe and Sound”, co-written with Dr. Lydia So, which has now been translated into French. His latest book on Polyvagal Parenting, co-written with Dr. Lydia So and Michael Allison is due out in September 2026.
